Police Make Drug Arrests; Burglars Nab Electronics From Kirkwood Home

The following arrest information was supplied by the Kirkwood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The blotter for November 21 through November 27.

Monday, November 21

  • At 12:39 a.m., police were summoned to a residence in the 1100 block of Earl Avenue for a residential burglary. The resident arrived home and discovered someone made entry to the home through an unlocked window. Several electronic items were stolen from the residence. 
  • At 8:13 a.m., a box trailer containing tools and construction equipment was reported stolen from the 500 block of Craig Drive. The trailer was stolen sometime during the previous weekend. The trailer was later recovered in Pike County Missouri on Tuesday, Nov. 22. All of the contents of the trailer had been removed.

Tuesday, November 22

  • At 12:57 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 600 block of Angenette Avenue. An adult female and adult male were in an argument over a vehicle owned by the female. The male was arrested after a routine computer check revealed he had outstanding warrants through the and Dent County Missouri.
  • At 10:07 p.m., police stopped a motorist for a traffic violation near at the intersection of South Kirkwood Road and Madison Avenue. The adult female driver was arrested after drug paraphernalia was found in her possession. An adult male passenger was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of illegal narcotics. 

Wednesday, November 23

  • At 12:31 a.m., officers investigating a report of loud music arrested four adult males in the 2300 block of Timberview.  All four were in possession of marijuana and alcohol and were under the age of 21. Three were also in possession of related drug paraphernalia. 
  • At 2:14 p.m., a resident from the 100 block of East Rosehill Avenue reported a burglary at the residence. Two flat screen TVs and a gaming system were stolen during the previous overnight hours. 

Saturday, November 26

  • At 1:35 p.m., police were summoned to the intersection of Leffingwell and Holmes for a report of a subject breaking into a vehicle. A witness reported seeing an adult male break a vehicle window and enter the same vehicle.  The male ran from the scene but was located by officers a short time later hiding in nearby bushes. He was arrested. Nothing was stolen from the vehicle. 

Sunday, November 27

  • At 1:38 p.m., officers responded to a theft from a vehicle in the 200 block of South Taylor Avenue. The victim reported a laptop computer stolen from the vehicle. 

Shoplifting

  • During the week, Kirkwood Police arrested three adult females and one adult male for shoplifting merchandise from area businesses. The offenses occurred at businesses in the 10400 block of Manchester Road and the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road.
