Suspect Makes Off With Drugs, Money After Threatening Roommate With Sword, Taser

The following arrest information was supplied by the Kirkwood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, September 26

  • At 3:49 p.m., police were summoned to a business in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road for a report of shoplifting.  An adult female was located nearby and arrested for stealing after stolen perfume was found in her possession. 
  • At 6:37 p.m., officers responded to the area of Kirkshire Drive and Regent Terrace for a report of solicitors. Officers located an adult female from California who was selling cleaning products.  She was arrested for soliciting without a license. 

Tuesday, September 27

  • At 11:06 a.m., an employee of a business located in the 10500 block of South Kirkwood Road reported vehicles broken into on the lot of the business. Two vehicles had windows broken with electronics and cash stolen from them.

Wednesday, September 28

  • At 2 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of South Elliott Avenue for a report of a disturbance in the street. Upon arrival, the officers realized that the disturbance was the ongoing result of a harassment that had been reported earlier in the day. The suspect who had been harassing his ex-girlfriend via text messages was now threatening her and her father.  The suspect was arrested for harassment and issued a summons. 

Thursday, September 29

  • At 7:50 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Cleveland Avenue for a report of a robbery. The victim reported that his roommate threatened him with a taser and a sword before taking money and illegal narcotics from the home. The suspect fled and is currently being sought by detectives.

Sunday, October 2

  • At 1:45 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Mabel Avenue for a report of burglary. The victim advised that an unknown subject entered the residence sometime over night and removed items from the residence while she was sleeping. 
  • At 4 p.m., a resident in the 300 block of Reith Terrace reported numerous traffic cones and street signs were discovered in the area. Investigation revealed that property was the property of . The items were turned over to the hospital security department.
