Kirkwood Police Investigate Identity Theft Reports

Kirkwood residents found fraudulent credit card charges and cable TV accounts opened in their names.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

July 12: 

At 7:41 a.m., a resident from the 1200 block of Cork Elm reported an identity theft. The resident learned that two cable TV accounts were opened in his name in the state of Georgia.

July 8: 

At 4:34 p.m., police received a report of identity theft from a resident in the 600 block of Huntwood. The resident discovered several fraudulent charges made on his credit card account that he did not authorize.

Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to contact the Kirkwood Police Department at 314-822-5858.
