Crime Log: Kirkwood Police Report Home Burglaries

The following arrest information was supplied by the Kirkwood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Kirkwood Police blotter for June 13 through June 19.

Tuesday, June 14

  • At 12:29 a.m., officers stopped a motorist for a traffic violation near the intersection of Manchester Road and Earl Avenue. The driver, an adult male, was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.

  • Police respond to vehicle break-in on Greenleaf Drive and discover four more nearby. .
  • Police arrest man for taking inappropriate pictures at Kirkwood retail stores. .

Thursday, June 16

  • At 1:37 a.m., officers stopped an operator of a moped for a traffic violation near the intersection of South Kirkwood and Big Bend Roads. The driver, an adult male, was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol and was arrested. 
  • At 6:19 a.m., police received a report of a theft from a residence in the 400 block of Dickens Avenue. A flat screen TV was stolen sometime during the overnight hours. 
  • Police respond to four separate vehicle break-ins. .
  • At 11:02 p.m., officers stopped a motor vehicle for a traffic violation near the intersection of Manchester Road and North Woodlawn Avenue.  Investigation led to five adult females being issued summonses for possession of intoxicating liquor by a person less than 21 years of age.

Saturday, June 18

  • At 10:20 a.m., a resident from Orchard Way reported a residential burglary. A laptop computer, wallet and cell phone were stolen sometime during the previous night while the resident was away. 
  • At 12:23 p.m., police handled a property damage report in the 700 block of North Geyer Road. Two large garden planters were damaged.

Shoplifting: Monday, June 13 – Sunday, June 19

  • Kirkwood Police arrested two adult males and two adult females for shoplifting merchandise from area businesses. All of the thefts occurred at a retail store in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road.
