Kirkwood Police See More Fallout From Schnucks Debit, Credit Card Fraud

Kirkwood police received another 19 reports from residents who experienced identity theft , likely as a result of the Schnucks security breach. This is in addition to the 30 incidents previously reported by Patch.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. 

April 8 - April 14:

Kirkwood police said they took took an additional nineteen reports of identity-theft during this time frame that were related to the Schnucks grocery chain credit and debit card security breach. All of the incidents involved the victims' credit card accounts being used in other states for purchases of various amounts, police stated.
