Kirkwood Resident Falls Victim to Social Security Fraud

Kirkwood police say a resident reported their personal information was used to open an account on the social security website.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

At 9:06 p.m., police responded to a residence in the 400 block of Burns regarding identity theft. The reporting party discovered someone opened up an account on the social security website using the victim’s information.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact the Kirkwood Police Department at 314-822-5858.
