Kirkwood Police Investigating Identity Theft Reports

Plus, Kirkwood police are investigating additional theft reports of bikes and shoplifting.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

June 25: 

At 11:54 p.m., police arrested an adult driver for driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop in the 1300 block of West Adams.

June 27:

At 7:03 a.m., police responded to the 1900 block of Rayner for a theft report after a  metal work box lock was broken and several tools were stolen.

June 27: 

At 4:08 p.m., officers received a report of identity theft from a resident in the 400 block of North Clay who discovered several unauthorized purchases made online with his credit card number.

June 29:

At 10:54 a.m., police responded to the 400 block of Limestone for a larceny report. Two Mongoose brand bicycles that were chained to a BBQ pit were stolen overnight.

June 30:

At 10:34 a.m., a resident from the 900 block of Lanyard reported identity theft. The resident said his credit card was used to book a room at a hotel in Chicago.

June 24 - June 30:

Kirkwood Police arrested five adults for shoplifting from area businesses during this week. The incidents occurred at a retail stores in the 10400 block of Manchester Road and 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road. The cases were referred to municipal court.
