Police Investigating Recent Thefts, Damage to Cars

Kirkwood police are searching for the suspects who recently targeted a number of cars and stole items from work trucks in the area.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

At 8:21 a.m., police were called to the 100 block of West Adams for several thefts from vehicles. Multiple tools and copper wiring were stolen from work trucks parked overnight on a nearby parking lot.

At 8:52 a.m., police received a report of destruction of property to a vehicle in the 400 block of South Van Buren. Three windows were broken out on victim’s car parked in the driveway.

June 13:

At 4:34 p.m., police responded to the 400 block of North Kirkwood Road for thefts from vehicles. Two vehicles on the parking lot had the windows broken. The glove boxes were rifled through but nothing was reported stolen.
