Kirkwood Woman, Restaurant's Manager And Girlfriend Charged With Robbing McDonald's

St. Louis County Police said Obie L. Peeples had his girlfriend and her friend rob the restaurant while he was working.

Three people are charged with robbing a Valley Park McDonald’s restaurant: a Kirkwood woman, the restaurant’s manager and his girlfriend.

St. Louis County Police said Obie L. Peeples, 20, a manager at the McDonald’s, arranged for his girlfriend and her friend to rob the restaurant while he was working.

Police said Daija Mister, 17, of Kirkwood, and Tailesha Wiggins, 18, and entered the restaurant at 13600 Big Bend Road in Valley Park holding firearms and announced it was a robbery. Police said Peeples took the women to the back, emptied the safe of all cash and handed the bag to Mister.

Wiggins is Peeples’ girlfriend, police said.

Peeples, of the 1000 block of Century Oaks Drive in Valley Park, Mister, of the 400 block of Limestone Place in Kirkwood, and Wiggins, of the first block of Francis Avenue in Valley Park, were charged Friday with first-degree robbery.

Peeples is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center in lieu of a $65,000 bond.

Mister and Wiggins also are being held in the St. Louis jail. Bail was set at $45,000 for the two women.
