I live is this area and I am concerned where it happened and when it happened. There are a very limited number of business in this specific area and none match the details released. This is a busy area around that time. Where exactly did it happen at and is there anything we can do to prevent it from happening again?

Joe, the description fits the area. The office building on the northwest corner has a picnic table behind it with a heavily wooded area behind it between it and the first house on Ballas. Not sure what we can do but think more details would be helpful. Random or did they know each other. I have heard two different versions, the one above and that he was on a bike and grabbed her from behind.

Tonia just know we love and completely support you and your daughter. And for the record as to the lication of the event, well I can see that building with woods vehind it from my front yard. Every parent in Kirkwood should be thanking God that it was not their child dragged into the woods

And I apoligize for typos...not enough coffee yet. Robert's parents, what about their true gut feeling about their son? He has a racey high dollar attorney, but the truth is what it is. My question is- how do we all, as citizens of Kirkwood prevent this type if tragedy from ever taking place again? Parents, I plead with you all to discuss sex with your kids. Answer their questions. Sex in itself between two conseting people is not shameful, but one person forcing another us an act of true violence. I hope our community reaches out to support this victim and her family.
