Man Charged With Promoting Prostitution in Kirkwood

Kirkwood police said Jeremy Munson gave a ride to a woman who was meeting an undercover officer for sex in exchange for money.

A man was charged with promoting prostitution after giving a ride to a woman to a Kirkwood location where she had agreed to sex for hire with an undercover officer, police said.

Jeremy Munson, 25, of Memphis, TN, was charged Oct. 3 in St. Louis County Circuit Court with third-degree promoting prostitution.

Police said Munsion gave a ride to a woman at about 7 p.m. Oct. 2 to 1202 South Kirkwood Road. The woman had agreed to meet a man, who was an undercover police officer, to perform sex for money. Police said Munson was taken into custody while waiting in his car.

Munson is being held in the St. Louis County Justice Center. Bail was set at $25,000.
