Offense Report Reveals Campus Police Tried to Alleviate Conflict Before Meramec Fight
St. Louis Community College police release the official offense report from the April 9 fight that broke out on the Meramec campus.
Campus police released the following offense report documenting the fight on the St. Louis Community College at Meramec campus April 9.
The report reveals that police tried to alleviate tension between students less than an hour before the outbreak of violence.
The attached report has been redacted by campus police, as well as Kirkwood Patch, to protect the privacy of students involved in the fight who were not arrested. Names of the three students arrested are not redacted from the report. They are charged with Common Assault through Kirkwood Municipal Court.

Meramec Police Chief Paul Banta said campus police are reviewing the to determine if "more players were involved."
The campus' president, George Watson, said the college plans to "broaden security camera coverage throughout campus," The Montage reports.
