Narcotics, Drug Paraphernalia Found on Alleged Shoplifters, 5 Arrested

Police responded to five incidents at the same Kirkwood business.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. 

Kirkwood Police responded to five separate incidents related to shoplifting from Jan. 7-13 which resulted in the arrests of five adults. All of the incidents occurred at the same retail store in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road. 

According to police, one of the five adults arrested had drug paraphernalia in her possession. Another was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics.

The incidents follow three shoplifting arrests made at a retail store in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road from Dec. 31 through Jan. 6. Two were arrested on felony charges for stealing more than $500 in merchandise.
