Police Arrest Suspect for Dealing Drugs Out of Kirkwood Home

Police seized controlled substances after serving a search warrant at a home in the 600 block of South Elliott Avenue.

A police search of a Kirkwood home led to the arrest of two adults, one of whom was arrested for distribution of a controlled substance.

Kirkwood police served a search warrant at the home in the 600 block of South Elliott Avenue last Wednesday at 9:05 a.m. Police applied for the warrant after receiving "reliable information that drugs were being sold from the home," Detective Dave Smith of the Kirkwood Police Department told Patch in an email.

The type and amount of substances seized by police are pending lab results. The distribution case will be referred to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review.
