Police Believe Glendale Resident Fell Victim to Schucks Related Fraud

Glendale police said a resident whose credit card was used out of state is likely another victim of the Schnucks security breach.

The following information was provided by the Glendale Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

At 5:48 p.m., a resident of the 700 block of Chelsea Avenue reported his Discover Card was used to make fradulent purchases in Michigan and Maryland.  The victim believed he was a victim of the recent security breach at Schnucks, police stated.

At 1:52 p.m., a resident of the 200 block of Elm Avenue reported the theft of her purse, cash, jewelry and a school-owned laptop. The items were reportedly stolen from an unlocked car in a driveway sometime overnight.

March 29:

At 12:36 p.m., a resident of the 900 block of Hawbrook Road reported the theft and fraudulent use of her debit card on March 24. Police said the card was stolen from her purse and used to make an ATM withdrawal at the Lindell Bank at 10018 Manchester Road.
