POLICE: Housekeeper Arrested for Stealing Jewelry

The following arrest information was supplied by the Glendale Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police arrested a housekeeper Wednesday in connection with jewelry and silver thefts from clients' homes in Glendale.

The female suspect, 67, of Hillsboro, surrendered to Glendale police after allegedly admitting to the thefts while in custody at the St. Louis County Justice Center. 

Police have connected the woman to thefts from homes in the unit block of Country Club Terrace and the 400 block of Elm Avenue.

At the time of the arrest, the woman had been released on bond from the St. Louis County Justice Center on a similar case in Sunset Hills.

Formal charges in the Glendale cases are pending by the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
