Police investigating Thefts of Wedding Ring, Mini Bike

Kirkwood police are investigating the recent thefts of a wedding ring and band, a computer and an Apollo mini bike that was stolen from a storage locker.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. 

April 29:

At 3:21 p.m., police received a report of a larceny from a vehicle in the 100 block of West Monroe. The victim had placed her engagement ring and wedding band in the center console of her vehicle while she went to work. Later that evening she noticed the rings were missing. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle.

At 3:08 p.m., police responded to a business in the 100 block of East Jefferson for a thef. An employee of the business said someone came into the store shortly after opening and stole a purse. Police are still investigating. 

May 1: 

At 8:18 p.m., police responded to the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road for a larceny from a vehicle. A laptop was stolen from the back seat of the car.

May 3:

At 8:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a larceny in the 400 block of South Geyer. The resident said the door to his storage locker was broken and a 2010 Apollo mini bike was stolen.

April 29 - May 5: 

Kirkwood Police arrested one adult for shoplifting merchandise from an area business during this week. The incident occurred at a business in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road.
