Tuesday, March 1

  • Kirkwood: Detectives arrested a 27-year-old Kirkwood man for Second Degree Child Molestation and Furnishing Intoxicating Liquor to a Minor. The incident occurred in January at the man's residence and involved the man and a juvenile. The man was employed as a teacher at Troy Buchanan High School with the Lincoln County, Missouri, R-III School District. On Thursday, the case was delivered to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review.

Wednesday, March 2 

  • Kirkwood: Detectives arrested a 36-year-old female from Fenton for stealing from a business in the 400 block of South Kirkwood Road.  The incident occurred in December and involved the theft of merchandise when she was an employee for the business. 
  • Kirkwood: At 4:32 p.m., police received a report of a stolen wallet from a business in the 10300 block of Manchester Road.  The victim reported leaving his wallet and watch unattended in an unlocked locker at the business. Both the wallet and the watch were stolen. Credit cards from the stolen wallet were then used at retail stores in the 1000 block of South Kirkwood Road and the 9400 block of Watson Road in Crestwood. Detectives are investigating.    
  • Webster Groves: A victim reported that someone gained access to his/her VISA credit card information on Feb. 13 and made purchases of over $900 at a Macy’s store in Florida. Police are investigating the incident, which occurred in the 300 block of Cannonbury Drive.

Thursday, March 3  

  • Kirkwood: Detectives arrested a 19-year-old male from Jennings relative to a stolen vehicle investigation. The original incident occurred on Feb. 26 at a business in the 10800 block of Manchester Road. The case will be referred to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review.
  • Kirkwood: At 2:43 p.m., a resident from the 900 block of Bernice Avenue reported a vehicle break-in. A pair of shoes was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle. A short time later, at 4:13 p.m., a resident from the 1000 block of Bernice Avenue also reported a vehicle break-in. An iPod accessory was stolen from an unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours.  
  • Webster Groves: A resident in the 500 block of Gray Avenue was issued a summons for violating the Knowingly Burning ordinance by burning the grass on his/her front lawn.
  • Webster Groves: A 14-year-old male was assaulted in the 8100 block of Big Bend Boulevard and had his wallet taken by two suspects. Both of the suspects, an 18 year old and 16 year old, were identified and arrested by police immediately after the incident. Robbery charges are pending.  

Friday, March 4

  • Kirkwood: At 4:37 p.m., officers were summoned to a residence in the 900 block of Curran Avenue for a theft report. The resident reported a laptop stolen sometime during the previous day from his/her vehicle.   
  • Kirkwood: At 6:42 p.m., police responded to a residential burglary in the 1200 block of Rockridge Place. A gaming system and tennis shoes were reported stolen from the residence.
  • Kirkwood: At 8:27 p.m., officers investigated a burglary at a residence in the 1000 block of Danworth Court. Jewelry was stolen from the residence.  
  • Webster Groves: A resident in the 400 block of Fairview Avenue reported that his/her dog had been shot in the right shoulder with a pellet gun.
  • Webster Groves: Someone damaged the rear wall of a building in the 100 block of E. Lockwood Avenue with spray paint.  

Saturday, March 5

  • Kirkwood: At 3:54 a.m., police stopped a motorist for a traffic violation near the intersection of South Kirkwood Road and Big Bend Road. The driver, an adult male, was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested.    
  • Kirkwood: At 11:54 a.m., an adult male was arrested for stealing after employees observed him conceal merchandise under his clothing. The incident occurred at a retail store in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road. The stolen merchandise was recovered. 
  • Kirkwood: At 12:39 p.m., a resident from the 700 block of Nirk Avenue reported a theft from the residence. Sometime during the previous day, unknown persons stole a wallet from inside the residence.  
  • Webster Groves: During a traffic stop in the 100 block of W. Thornton Avenue, police located Marijuana in the vehicle. Both occupants were arrested for possession.

Sunday, March 6  

  • Kirkwood: At 9:23 a.m., a purse was reported stolen from a vehicle near the intersection of S. Holmes and Leffingwell Avenues. The purse was located nearby by officers. An iPhone was stolen from the purse.
