Report of Man Selling Pills Behind Kirkwood Restaurant Leads to Arrest

A man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and stealing after police received a report of him trying to sell prescription pills in a Kirkwood parking lot.

A man was arrested in Kirkwood after police received a report of him trying to sell prescription drugs in a parking lot in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road.

Police located the man behind a Kirkwood eatery when they responded to the report at 7:02 p.m. Thursday. Investigation led to his arrest after police reportedly found the suspect to be in possession of drug paraphanalia and a stolen cell phone. 

The suspect reportedly stole a cell phone from a vehicle owned by a customer at the eatery, according to police. The phone was returned to the owner. The drug and stealing charges were referred to Municipal Court.
