Resident Chases Car Burglary Suspects Caught in Act

Plus, Kirkwood police say a car was stolen after it was left in the driveway with its keys in it.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

July 3: 

At 10:49 p.m., police responded to the 2000 block of Briargate for a stolen vehicle. A 2009 dark gray Acura TL was stolen from the driveway sometime within the previous 2 hours. The keys were left inside the vehicle.

July 2:

At 1:00 a.m., police responded to the 600 block of Knierim Place where a resident said he just chased two people breaking into his car. The only item taken from the car was a box of fuses which was found nearby.
