More Than 75 Kirkwood Residents Fall Victim to Schnucks Security Breach

Kirkwood police say even more reports are being filed by victims of fraud in connection to the Schnucks security breach.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. 

Between April 22 and April 28, Kirkwood Police took an additional eleven reports of identity-theft related to the Schnucks credit and debit card security breach.

This takes the total reports made by residents to more than 75, according to police.

As previously reported by Patch, Kirkwood police had already taken 65 reports from residents who have fallen victim to fraud from the breach.

Kirkwood police also issued advice to residents on how to handle the situation if they found their cards had been compromised.
