Shoplifting, DWI Arrests in Kirkwood

Kirkwood Police Department provides information the latest crime incidents in the area.

The following information was supplied by the Kirkwood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.

Friday, Aug. 30:
An adult’s bicycle was found in the 300 block of South Taylor. The bicycle was brought to the police station awaiting the owner.

Saturday, Aug. 31:
At 2:33 a.m., police responded to the 300 block of West Jefferson for a vehicle crash involving an intoxicated driver and two parked vehicles. The adult driver was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. The case was referred to municipal court.

Sunday, Sept. 1:
Police arrested four adults for shoplifting merchandise from an area business during the week of Aug. 26-Sept. 1. All incidents occurred at a retail store in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road. Three of the cases were referred to municipal court. The fourth case resulted in a felony stealing and resisting arrest which was referred to state court.
