Shoplifting, Tampering Arrests in Kirkwood

Kirkwood Police Department provides information on the latest crime incidents in the area.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Sept. 27:
  • At 10:46 p.m. in the 9000 block of Big Bend in Oakland, officers noticed an adult on the parking lot who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics or alcohol. It was determined the suspect was in possession of a vehicle reported stolen from St. Louis County. The subject was arrested and charged with tampering. The case was referred to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for review. 

Sunday, Sept. 29:
  • Kirkwood Police arrested three adults for shoplifting merchandise from area businesses during the week of Sept. 23-29. The incidents occurred at retail stores in the 1000 and 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road and 10400 Manchester. The subjects were charged with stealing which were referred to municipal court.
