Solicitors Continue to Break Law, Prompt Complaints

Glendale police warned another company to stop door-to-door soliciting until obtaining proper permits.

The Glendale Police Department continues to deal with door-to-door solicitors as complaints from residents keep coming.

Last week, it was Midtown Home Improvements that drew complaints from residents. Police responded to several complaints of solicitors in the area of 900 and 1000 blocks of Glenmoor Lane. 

Police advised two men who were soliciting for the business to stop until they obtained proper city permits, according to Glendale police.

Earlier this month, officers responded to several complaints from residents of Glenmoor Lane, Albert Avenue and Alexandra Avenue of door-to-door solicitors for “Integrity Home Solutions," who were soliciting within the city limits without a proper permit. Officers advised five employees to cease until proper permits are obtained.

They also responded to several complaints from residents of Hillard Road, Chelsea Avenue and Clif Side Drive of a “rude” door-to-door solicitor for “Dedicated to Success” magazine sales.
