Tools, Machinery Targeted by Thieves in Kirkwood

Plus, Kirkwood police make four arrests in connection to shoplifting at local businesses.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. 

April 23:

At 10:26 a.m., police responded to a report of a person stealing two bottles of liquor from a store in the 10400 block of Manchester Road. The person left the area prior to the arrival of police. Police are investigating the incident.

April 25:

At 12:14 p.m., police responded to a theft from a vehicle parked at a construction site at Big Bend and I-270. The victim reported a generator and blower taken from the bed of a truck.    

April 26:

At 12:38 a.m., police responded to a residence in the 12700 block of Big Bend for a burglary report. A worker responded to the house which was under construction and noticed several tools stolen from the house.

April 27: 

At 7:27 p.m., police responded to a burglary in the 400 block of Alsobrook. Police received a report of people inside a vacant residence. The rear door was forced open, but no one was located inside the home upon police arrival. Nothing was disturbed and police are investigating the incident.

April 22 - April 28:

Kirkwood Police arrested four adults for shoplifting merchandise from area businesses during this week. The incidents occurred at businesses in the 10400 block of Manchester Road and the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road.
