Contractor Suspected of Theft From Home, Police Say

Kirkwood police are investigating after a woman reported her wallet went missing and said a contractor was in the home around the time it disappeared.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. 

Monday, March 4:

At 3:04 p.m., a resident in the 600 block of Applewood Drive called police to report her wallet missing from her purse. The resident said the wallet contained more than $100 and a driver’s license, and was left in her purse in her bedroom. She said she had a contractor at her home was left unsupervised in the same room with purse the day before she contacted police.
