Police Seek Suspect in Connection With Kirkwood Home Burglary

The following information was supplied by the Kirkwood Police Department.

The is seeking assistance in locating a suspect in a residential burglary early Wednesday morning at a home in the 800 block of Delchester Lane in Kirkwood.

The suspect removed a window screen and lifted an insecure window to gain entry to the home. The homeowner awoke during the crime and rose to find the suspect exiting the home through the same window. The suspect stole a laptop and purse which were later recovered by police a few blocks away.

The suspect is believed to be involved at least one other burglary in St. Louis County between Sunday and Monday. He also is a suspect in area vehicle break-ins and at least one motor vehicle theft.

He is wanted by several area police agencies including Kirkwood, Webster Groves and St. Louis County. He is a parole absconder through the State of Missouri Department of Corrections.

The suspect is identified as Charles “Brad” Holzhauer, 41, formerly of the 11300 block of Manchester Road in Kirkwood.
