'Suspicious Vehicle' Call Ends With Two Unrelated Arrests

Police said a "suspicious vehicle" call ended up with a drug arrest and a driving under the influence arrest in an unrelated incident.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. 

Thursday, Jan. 31:

At 12:22 a.m., police responded to a call for a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of Andrews Avenue. A person was reportedly sitting in a car not familiar to the area. Officers located the vehicle and the driver was arrested after police said he was found in possession of marijuana.

During the investigation of the first call, a vehicle passing through the area was stopped at the same location for a traffic violation. Police said that second driver was then arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
