Counter Attack at Police Station

An intoxicated woman was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct May 30 after police said she became combative and climbed onto the front lobby counter at the Richmond Heights Police Department. It began earlier in the day when police responded to a report that someone was blowing a car horn repeatedly in the 1600 block of Bellevue Avenue, according to police. Upon investigation, they found the 25-year-old woman sitting in her car and talking to her boyfriend by phone. The car was turned off. Police brought her to the station to await her boyfriend. After her arrest, her boyfriend arrived and she was released to him.

Be Careful if You Wear Your Friend's Pants

A St. Louis County Police Department South County Precinct officer stopped a vehicle that had been having difficulty staying in one lane. After pulling the male driver over, the officer spotted a handgun in the car. A subsequent search of the man resulted in finding drugs and drug paraphernalia in the man's pockets. The driver said he didn't know anything about the illegal contents because he was wearing his friend's pants.

Someone moved solar lights at a home in St. Charles May 25, damaging two of them in the process.

Someone gained entry May 28 to a home in Fenton. The burglar removed a pillowcase from a pillow, then looked through closets and drawers but stole nothing.

Another Trash Can Caper

A woman was with misdemeanor stealing after attempting to obtain a new trash can with a receipt from another Walmart. said in a report that the woman paid for $80 in merchandise at Walmart and showed the cashier a receipt for a trash can in her shopping cart. Walmart security stopped her and found the receipt for an identical trash can purchased earlier from the Wentzville Walmart. The trash can was valued at $13.84.

Three Grand Stashed Among Her Unmentionables

A Creve Coeur woman reported to police that $3,000 went missing from her underwear drawer sometime between May 12 and May 20.
