Thefts Top Recent Kirkwood Police Calls

Another update on local crime from the Kirkwood Police Department.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. 

Saturday, March 9:

At 5:36 p.m., police were called to the 700 block of East Argonne Drive in Oakland for a report of a theft. The victim said that some time during the day her purse containing cash and credit cards was stolen from her car.

Wednesdy, March 6:

At 4:19 p.m., a resident reported a black 20” Trek Jet bicycle missing from the front yard. The bike was last seen over the weekend of Feb. 16.

Monday, March 4:

At 8:00 a.m., police were called to the 10200 block of Manchester Road for a report of stolen car stereo. Investigators said the stereo faceplate was pried away from the dash sometime during the previous weekend, but there was no forced entry into the vehicle.
