Thieves Damage Cars During Break-Ins

Kirkwood police said in some of the instances, nothing was even taken from the cars.

July 6:

At 2:31 p.m., police responded to the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road for a destruction of property report. The victim said her rear passenger window was broken sometime during the night.

July 5:

At 10:55 a.m., a resident in the 1300 block of North Geyer reported their unlocked vehicle had been rifled through overnight. Nothing was stolen.

July 1:

At 4:34 a.m. police responded to the 10200 block of Manchester for a destruction of property and attempt larceny. The victim reported leaving his vehicle parked on the parking lot and upon returning from work he found his driver’s window shattered and an attempt was made to remove the car stereo.

July 1:

At 8:27 p.m., police received a report of destruction of property from Provincial Court. The victim said sometime over the weekend his car door lock was damaged and entry was gained into the car. Nothing appeared to be missing.
