Thieves Target Kirkwood Businesses

Kirkwood police make arrests in one case and are searching for suspects in another, after thieves target local businesses.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction. 

Saturday, Feb. 9:

At 7:59 a.m., police were called after a business in the 600 block of Leffingwell was burglarized. A back door was broken through and a portable generator and tools were reportedly stolen.

Monday, Feb. 4 - Sunday, Feb. 11:

Four adults were arrested in two separate incidents of shoplifting from a business in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road during the week. All four cases were referred to municipal court.
