Three Shoplifters Arrested, DWI Arrest in Kirkwood

The following information was supplied by the Kirkwood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.

Wednesday, Aug. 14:

• A landscape block had been used to break the driver's side window of a vehicle on Lemp Road. A wallet was missing from the vehicle.

Sunday, Aug. 18:

• A vehicle struck the center median on Interstate 44 at Big Bend at 3:25 a.m. Police arrested the driver for driving while intoxicated.
• Police took two separate incident reports of Mongoose bicycles stolen in the 1200 block of Stonecrest.
• Police arrested three adults for shoplifting merchandise from an area business during the week of Aug. 12 through 18. The incidents occurred at a retail store in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road.
