Traffic Stops Lead to Drug, Fugitive Arrests

Glendale police report one woman was arrested for drug possession, while traffic stops also land people in custody who were wanted by numerous police departments.

The following information was provided by the Glendale Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

At 10:57 a.m., during a traffic stop in the 10,000 block of Manchester Road, a 36-year-old St. Louis County man was arrested and charged as a fugitive of the St. Louis County Police Department. During the same stop, a 47-year-old Florissant man was arrested and charged as a fugitive of the Hazelwood, Florissant and St. Louis County police departments.  Both men were released to St. Louis County authorities.

At 2:09 p.m., a 50-year-old University City woman was arrested in the 10,000 block of Manchester Road and charged with driving while suspended, possession of marijuana, resisting arrest, no proof of insurance and as a fugitive of the Charlack, Pagedale and Calverton Park police departments.  She was released on bond.
