Traffic Stops Lead to Numerous Arrests in Glendale

Glendale police say one of the traffic stops landed a man in custody in connection to a theft last year.

The following information was provided by the Glendale Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

April 13:

At 12:20 a.m., a 41-year-old Maplewood woman was arrested in the 9900 block of Manchester Road and charged with driving while intoxicated, speeding and no proof of insurance.  She was later released on her own recognizance.

At 12:19 a.m., a 56-year-old Rock Hill man was arrested near the intersection of N. Berry Road at W. Lockwood Avenue and charged with driving while suspended, driving with only one operable headlight, and no proof of insurance.  He was later released on bond.

April 9:

At 3:57 p.m., a 38 year old Grandview, MO man was arrested in Clay County, MO by the Missouri State Highway Patrol for receiving stolen property. Police said during the traffic stop the man was in possession of the stolen license plate year tabs from Glendale. According to investigators, the tabs were originally reported stolen on Dec. 25, 2012 from a car in the unit block of Edwin Avenue. Formal charges are pending in Clay County.
