Trespasser Arrested After Fleeing Police

Kirkwood police said the individual ran while talking to police, but was caught shortly after.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

June 30:

At 12:01 p.m., police responded to the 100 block of West Argonne for trespassing. Police found an individual on the railroad tracks near the Clay Bridge overpass picking up trash. While speaking to police, the person fled on foot from the area, but was caught a short distance away. The person was then arrested and charged with trespassing on railroad property and resisting arrest. Police also found the individual had an outstanding warrant for a probation violation out of Boone County, Missouri.
