Vehicles Stolen in Webster Groves, Police Report

The following arrest information was supplied by the Webster Groves Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Webster Groves police blotter for May 22 through May 28.

Sunday, May 22

  • A 1994 Jeep Cherokee was stolen from the driveway in the 400 block of Selma Avenue. The vehicle was recovered in the 9100 block of Big Bend Boulevard.
  • A 2003 Dodge Intrepid was stolen while parked on the street in the 1300 block of Bridle Road. The theft occurred between 2 and 7 a.m.
  • A Garmin GPS and a pocketknife were taken from a parked vehicle in the 200 bock of Reavis Place sometime overnight.
  • A 2002 Dodge Intrepid was stolen from the driveway in the first block of Wishire Terrace some time over night.

  • Sometime overnight someone damaged the driver’s  door of a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Selma Avenue.

Tuesday, May 24

  • A 21-year-old male suspect was arrested for trying to use a forged prescription to obtain controlled drugs from the Schnucks Pharmacy in the 8600 block of Big Bend Boulevard.

Wednesday, May 25

  • Stereo equipment and sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 600 block of Locksley Place some time overnight.

Friday, May 27

  • Sometime overnight a wallet was taken from an unlocked truck parked in the 500 block of Hollywood Place. The wallet contained credit cards and personal papers.
  • A male and female stole 11 pairs of eyeglasses totaling over $700 dollars from Clarkson Eyewear located in the 8600 block of Big Bend Boulevard. Police have identified and are attempting to locate the two suspects. 

Saturday, May 28

  • An unknown person burglarized a business in the first block of North Gore Avenue and stole cash and a computer. The computer was located on the rear parking lot of the business. Entry was gained through the rear window of the business.
  • A male suspect stole a donation can containing about $100 from the front counter of Schnucks in the 8600 block of Big Bend Boulevard.
