Webster Groves Police Report Thefts

The following arrest information was supplied by the Webster Groves Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Webster Groves police blotter for May 29 through June 4.

Sunday, May 29

  • At 11:45 a.m. someone broke a window at the College School. A witness observed a 12-year-old white male with a lacrosse stick in the area at the time of the incident.
  • While attending a party, a 27-year-old male reported that a 29-year-old male suspect assaulted him in the 8700 Block Big Bend Boulevard. The incident is under investigation.

Monday, May 30

  • During a traffic stop at Marshall and Yeatman Avenues, police discovered the driver in possession of marijuana. The driver also had several active traffic warrants. The driver was arrested and charged.

Tuesday, May 31

  • A 4-year-old girl was bitten and scratched as she attempted to caress a strange cat in Larson Park. Police are attempting to locate the cat owner.
  • A wallet containing cash and personal items were taken from an unlocked car parked in the street in the 1000 block of Bell Avenue.

Wednesday, June 1

  • Sometime between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m., someone stole two decorative urns from a porch in the 8300 block of Big Bend Boulevard.

Thursday, June 2

  • Several items were taken from two vehicles that were parked in an unattached garage in the 100 block of South Gore Avenue. 
  • Two male suspects were issued summonses for being in Ivory Crockett Park after closing.

Friday, June 3

  • A bike described as a blue Next Avalon was found in the area of East Willis and Waymire Avenues. The bike is being held at the Webster Groves police Station.
  • Sometime overnight someone used a key or other sharp object and damaged a car parked in the 600 block of Hollywood Place.
  • Three arrests were made for various charges during a peace disturbance incident at Ivory Crockett Park.
