Council to Talk Digital Signs, Audit Results

A preview of tonight's Kirkwood City Council work session and regular meeting.

A work session kicks off at 5:30 p.m. tonight with an independent auditor's report for Fiscal Year 2011 followed by a report from the City of Kirkwood's Audit Committee.

Also on the work session agenda is a discussion of digital signs. Mayor Art McDonnell told Kirkwood Patch that the city has been in contact with the to test brightness levels of the digital signs at , as work on a resolution to restrict the brightness of digital signs within Kirkwood continues.

The works session will be followed by the regular meeting of the city council at 7 p.m, where councilors will take a final vote on tax rates for the Kirkwood Special Business District and Kirkwood Public Library, which will remain the same as last year.
