Kirkwood to Tackle Bullying in October

The problem is the topic of this year's Human Rights Commission Symposium.

The following information was submitted by the City of Kirkwood.

The Kirkwood Human Rights Commission will host a Symposium on Bullying on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 1-4 p.m, at Kirkwood High School. 

Registration for the Symposium will begins at 1 p.m., and the program will start at 1:45 p.m.

This year's guest speaker is Tabari Coleman, from the Anti-Defamation League. A short film on the topic of bullying, Let’s Get Real, will be shown, followed by discussion.

Break-out sessions will be facilitated by members of the Community for Understanding and Hope (CFUH). Other participants include the Kirkwood High School Social Justice Committee and the Kirkwood High School Black Achievement and Cultural Club.
