Motorcycle Accident Takes Life of Kirkwood Employee
A funeral service for Gary Forshee, who served with the City of Kirkwood for 22 years, will be held Thursday.
Gary Forshee, director of , was killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday, according to the City of Kirkwood.
Forshee, 63, of Barnhart, was thrown from his motorcycle and hit an SUV after loosing control of his vehicle on Missouri Route W in Jefferson County at about 1:50 p.m. Sunday, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol as reported in the Webster-Kirkwood Times.
A funeral service will be held at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO, Thursday at 1 p.m. Visitation is Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Details can be found on Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home's website.
Forshee served with the City of Kirkwood for 22 years. Willie Young will serve as acting director of the city's sanitation division for now, according to the City of Kirkwood.
