Vacant Applebee's: What Might Move In?
Tell Patch readers what you'd like to see in this empty location formerly occupied by Applebee's Neighborhood Bar & Grill in Des Peres.
A former building occupied by Applebee's Neighborhood Bar & Grill at 13560 N. Barrett Parkway Dr., in Des Peres may become another restaurant in the future.
Des Peres City Administrator Doug Harms confirmed with Patch that inquiries about the former Applebee's location recently were made by Culver's Restaurant representatives. Culver's menu ranges from signature butterburgers, other sandwiches and soups to salads and several frozen custard derivatives.
"Culver's representatives asked about the zoning and processes," Harms said.

But he did not know if Culver's owners would be interested in renovating the location or demolishing what is there and starting over.
The first Culver’s was opened in 1984 in Sauk City, WI.
