28 Inducted into Kirkwood School District's Athletic Hall of Fame

The Kirkwood School District inducted 28 former athletes, coaches and community members into the Athletic Hall of Fame earlier this month.

At a banquet ceremony April 13, several inductees shared acceptance speeches and memories to a crowd of more than 400, according to the school district. The Hall of Fame Class of 2013 includes:

• Alphonse (Al) Smith, Class of 1945 (recognized posthumously)
• Don Wainwright, Class of 1959
• Udell Chambers, Class of 1966 (recognized posthumously)
• Drew Rogers, Class of 1972
• Bill Moulder, Class of 1973
• Steven Powell, Class of 1974 (recognized posthumously)
• Keith Angel, Class of 1976
• Lenard Johnson, Class of 1979
• Greg Warren, Class of 1986
• Patti (Hopkins) Clawson, Class of 1987
• Karen (Hopkins) Miranda, Class of 1989
• William Ennis-Inge, Class of 1992
• Kalani Fifita Sitake, Class of 1993
• Terrence Curry, Class of 1999
