A Community Coming Together: A Symposium on Diversity

This symposium is sponsored by the Kirkwood Human Rights Commission.

The event theme is "The Fabric of our Community: Understanding, Celebrating, and Promoting Diversity: A Look Back and a Look Forward as we Come Together."

The program includes a welcome by Mayor Art McDonnell and HRC Chair, Darnel Frost; introductory remarks by Rabbi Susan Talve; and the keynote speaker is U.S. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, D-Kansas City who is the chairman of the U.S. Congressional Black Caucus. The panel discussion will be moderated by KETC's "Donnybrook" contributor, Alvin Reid.
