The U.S. Green Building Council MO Gateway Chapter, Grace Episcopal Church and the School Sisters of Notre Dame, are organizing a free and open to the public introduction to Faith Based Sustainability.
The goal of the panel discussion is to invite people to make a shift from an anthropocentric to a biocentric focus. Attendees will explore three local faith based initiatives as well as two certification programs. Grace Episcopal parishioners have gathered data since 2009. By successfully raising awareness about energy efficiencies and savings, they have freed up money from the weekly collections to spend on their mission outreach.
