KHS, Vianney Racquetball Players Compete in National Championships

Racquetball players from Kirkwood and Vianney high schools are in Portland, OR, competing in the 2012 USA Racquetball National High School Championships. The tournament began Wenesday and ends Sunday.

sent 14 players to the tournament and sent eight. Of the 273 players from around the country competing at the event, 77 are from St. Louis.

The High School Racquetball National Championships are held every other year in Portland and every other year in St Louis. All high school national entrants will qualify for the 2012 Junior Olympics this June in Fullerton, CA, The winners of the boy's and girl's singles #1 Gold divisions will be named to the U.S. Junior National Team.
