Kirkwood High Ranks 6th in Missouri in Newsweek Survey

That news comes two weeks after it ranked third among top-ranked Missouri schools by U.S. News & World Report.

Different survey, different results.

Two weeks ago, Kirkwood High School ranked third in Missouri in the U.S. News & World Report ranking of the best high schools in the country. Now, Newsweek has a different list, and KHS has a different position in the rankings.

Newsweek's its online ranking of the top 2,000 high schools in the country puts Kirkwood as the sixth best in Missouri, with a ranking of 523 among the top 2,000. That ranking keeps Kirkwood out of Newsweek's list of the 25 best in the Midwest—a ranking that put Ladue Horton Watkins at No. 18 and Clayton High at No. 20. Ladue was ranking the No. 1 school in Missouri.
