Kirkwood High Student Wins Design Contest

The Pioneer's yearbook design editor was one of the chosen winners in Jostens/Adobe's design competition.

The following information was submitted by the Kirkwood School District:

Leah Gamble, design editor of 's yearbook, was selected as an honorable mention winner in the 2012 Jostens/Adobe Design Contest.

Gamble, a 2012 graduate, was among 350 entries nationally in the 2012 Yearbook Design Contest. She was one of 17 selected middle and high school students recognized for their creativity.

Jostens and Adobe jointly sponsor the contest, in its eighth year.  Each participant submitted a complete yearbook spread designed using Adobe InDesign software.

The winning entries displayed an awareness of accepted design standards while effectively presenting visual and verbal content in a creative, reader-friendly way.

The winning designs will be featured in the fall issue of Jostens Adviser and Staff magazine and the 2013 Gotcha Covered Look Book.
