Kirkwood School Board Candidates to Face Off in Forum

Representatives from the League of Women Voters will moderate the candidate forum.

Five candidates have filed for two open seats on the Kirkwood School Board, and all five will have a chance to face off against each other to explain their positions in a candidate forum scheduled for Monday evening.

Representatives from the League of Women Voters will moderate the panel, which will be at the North Kirkwood Middle School library, 11287 Manchester Road, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. 

Two positions on the Kirkwood School Board will be decided in the April 2 municipal election. The five candidates who have filed for the open seats are:

  • Darnel Frost
  • Antona Brent Smith
  • Eric Christian Peterson
  • Amy Russell

The open seats are being vacated by Angie Bay and Kathy Harris, whose terms expire and will not seek reelection.
