Patrick Jackson is one of 50 educators from across the country to be named a 2011 Distinguished Music Educator by the Yale School of Music.
The veteran KHS orchestra director and conductor of Webster University's Community Music School’s Young People’s Concert Orchestra (YPCO) was selected from 300 nominees, according to Webster University's Community Music School.
Jackson has served as orchestra director at KHS for the past 20 years and last year was named YPCO conductor. He will travel to Yale in June to receive the award.
